Butter Bean Casserole

|2 packages frozen
butter beans. Cook in
salted water until beginning to get tender.
6 slices bacon (fried out crisp)
1 large onion (sautéed in bacon drippings)
1 cup milk
Place 1 package beans in casserole. Place half pimiento strips,
half of onion, 3 slices crumbled bacon. Then rest of beans,
pimiento, and crumbled bacon.
Pour milk over, sprinkle with pepper. Put bread crumbs on top
and dot with butter. Bake 350 degrees until milk is almost gone
and bread crumbs are browned.
